Monitoring the EU legislative process

Just a quick reference to two web resources for tracking legislation:

A citizen's guide to document access published by the commission itself. I am impressed by the depth and breadth of the public access provisions in the Treaty of Amsterdam.
The EU legislative portal. The old version which is at the top level was superseded in November 2004, but the new version has a wealth of information.
